Do you find yourself cooking the same recipes every week? Or maybe you find yourself in a restaurant more nights than not? I get it. Figuring out what to cook is hard. Finding recipes that your family will like is a struggle as well. On-the-go sandwiches are one way I make packing lunch for work easier.

I often find myself cooking the same meals every week. That is okay for a while but it tends to get boring after a while. How many weeks can we eat tacos in a row? Can we really eat the same lunch every day without getting bored? I get it. I need new and inspiring recipes to help me find meals my family will love and switch it up in the kitchen.

Meal planning can save you money and time if done correctly. Shopping the weekly sales ad is a good start to saving money in the kitchen. However, if you do not have a plan for what you buy you’ll find yourself struggling to get food on the table for your family. By menu planning, you know exactly what you are going to cook for the week and can shop accordingly. You’ll save yourself time, money, and a bit of sanity.

I am teaming up with other bloggers from around the internet to share recipes with you that will inspire you to switch up your menu and create something new. I challenge you to grab one of these recipes and add it to your weekly menu plan. You’ll find new recipes to love and help your family try different foods.

10 On-the-Go Sandwiches to Make for Lunch

Today, I am going to share on-the-go sandwiches with you to make lunchtime easier. Lunch is one of those areas that I struggle with. I find myself grabbing cold cuts from the deli and making a sandwich most days. It’s okay for a while but I like to switch it up as well. When I decided to put together a lunch post I knew I wanted easy recipes that could be brought to work for lunch or even on the go. Lunch is that one hour when we want to relax for a few minutes and just grab a bite to eat. We often don’t have to cook so finding recipes that could be made ahead and packed to go was key for me.

THE 5 MINUTE TURKEY CLUB RANCH WRAP

I love quick recipes and 5 minutes is definitely something that I can pull off to get my lunch together. This turkey club ranch wrap is a quick addition to your lunch ..and is definitely one of my favorite on-the-go sandwiches.

Easy Chicken Salad with Grapes and Almonds

Kelly shares how easy it is to make the classic chicken salad. Enjoy this recipe on a croissant or as a little tea sandwich. You could even put it in a lettuce wrap if you want!

CURRIED CHICKEN SALAD

If you love spicy flavors you will love this spin on the classic chicken salad. Meghan shares her story of growing up with a curried chicken salad sandwich and gives us ideas on how we can switch the recipe for our own tastes.

LOW CARB LETTUCE WRAPS WITH TURKEY & ROASTED PEPPERS

Making a wrap from lettuce is the perfect substitute for pieces of bread. I love how Lisa combines the lettuce, turkey, and veggies for the perfect low carb lunch.

Edamame And Kimchi Vegan Falafel Wrap

These falafel wraps are packed full of protein to help you get through the afternoon slump. I love how Maria shares exactly why she chose falafel for the wrap and additional veggies or condiments you could add to the wrap to make it exactly how you like.

HONEY MUSTARD BBQ BACON TURKEY SLIDERS

I love this spin on the classic ham and cheese sandwich you see at parties and family get-togethers. These sliders would make the perfect go-to lunch since they are portable and can be easily refrigerated for a few days.

VEGAN CHICKPEA MAYONNAISE SALAD SANDWICH

This meatless option combines chickpeas, corn, and cashew mayonnaise. I love that Rhian shares the recipe but also gives you different options for how to eat it (lettuce wrap, pita, tortilla etc.) as well as additional items you could add to the chickpea salad to change the flavor a bit.

HEALTHY VEGGIE PINWHEELS

If you are looking for a healthy lunch idea this is perfect. These pinwheels are all veggie and look delicious especially on a hot summer day (of course you could enjoy them year round!)

Avocado Crab Salad BLT Sandwich

I love this spin on the BLT sandwich. You can enjoy the taste of a BLT with an added touch. The crab meat and avocado put a healthy spin on this classic. You can enjoy both a classic BLT and this Avocado Crab Salad BLT as on-the-go sandwiches in your lunch.

SKINNY ITALIAN TUNA SALAD

I love the idea of this Skinny Italian Tuna Salad because Lisa gives us two options to enjoy this recipe. She shares how you can enjoy this tuna salad in a bell pepper or as a wrap. Both options would be great for bringing your lunch to work or on the go.

On-The-Go Sandwiches are the perfect addition to your lunch!

I hope you find a few recipes here that you can add to your lunch menu. Working full time, I struggle with lunch. Knowing that I have something premade in the fridge that I can take out to eat real quick is a time saver for me. I love to premake my lunch and have it ready to go when I need it most.
